Both seasoned and budding entrepreneurs are turning to crowdfunding to start or grow their businesses. According to Entrepreneur Magazine, there were over 1 million successful crowdfunding campaigns in 2012, raising over $2.7 billion.  In the next Small Business Breakfast Series, we will discuss best practices for launching a successful crowdfunding campaign.

Audra Quinn raised over $28,000 with 533 backers on Kickstarter last month. She is a writer by trade with 10 years of publishing experience across multiple channels and industries. She earned an MBA with an emphasis in entrepreneurship from Pepperdine University in August 2013 and was the winner of the 2013 Pepperdine University Business Plan Competition.

Mike Tringe earned a BA in history and science from Harvard. He went on to teach high school English and filmmaking at the American School in Tangier, Morocco, where he started the first high school filmmaking program in Morocco. He earned his MFA in film production from USC and has worked in the film finance/sales department at CAA in creative development.

Speaker: This event is not open to MS Students, For more than 40 years, Gallup has helped Fortune 1000® companies understand and develop the talents and skills of business development and consulting professionals. Now you have the opportunity to participate in a Gallup professional development program., This one-day introductory workshop is being offered at no cost to local area MBA and other Masters level students and recent alumni.  To participate, you need to apply for the workshop, complete a talent assessment, and be accepted.
Ticket Information: This training, used to train Gallup Consultants, is being offered to our MBA students and recent alumni free of charge. The group size is limited to only 40 participants, as this is a very interactive session.
