Each year we come together to observe September 11 in honor of the heroes who were lost on this day in 2001. This brief service brings together the Pepperdine and Malibu communities to remember, honor, and look ahead towards peace and reconciliation. Students, faculty and staff are invited to join in reading Red Letter Revolution and meet authors Tony Campolo and Shane Claiborne. This series of three book discussions and meals is sponsored by the Center for Faith and Learning, Convocation Office, Office of the Chaplain and International Programs. Dates and details are as follows:

1) Wednesday, September 17, 8:30-9:30am: have breakfast with Tony Campolo
2) Wednesday, October 15, 11am-12pm: have lunch as a small group with other students, faculty and staff to discuss the book
3) Wednesday, November 19, 11am-12pm: have lunch with Shane Claiborne

Participants will receive a copy of the book and free meals at each session.
