Wednesday, March 16, 2016, 6 – 8:30pm
Join fellow Graziadio alumni for a networking mixer at the exclusive Andy Warhol exhibit at the Pepperdine University Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art on the Malibu campus from 6:00-8:30 PM.
Michael Zakian, Museum Director, will provide a special presentation at 6:45PM on this exhibit featuring over 80 works from Andy Warhol’s silkscreen portfolios. It includes some of his best known images, such as his Campbell Soup Cans, Flowers, and Marilyn Monroe, as well as later works exploring themes of race, Myths, and Endangered Species. Together they explore this interest in Life—the grand drama of human existence—and Legends—those people and things that have become cultural icons. Warhol's top 10 pieces of artwork are collectively valued at over $700 million.
Other attendees will include senior executives from the Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Business and Management, and GAN-LA Council Leaders.
