About Ed Wedbush

Edward W. Wedbush is founder and President of Wedbush Securities. In 1955, Mr. Wedbush and a childhood friend founded Wedbush Securities with first year revenues of $659. The growth of the company is an American entrepreneurial success story.

Mr. Wedbush currently holds membership positions on the Regional Firms Committee of SIFMA and Board of Trustees for University of Cincinnati Foundation. In 2004, Mr. Wedbush was recipient of the Lifetime Achievement in Entrepreneurship Award from the University of Cincinnati, and in 2006, was awarded Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year for Greater Los Angeles.
