The cultural gateway to India: Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Bhavnagar, and Mumbai
Duration: 10 nights / 11 days
How can we learn to enjoy and savor the sights, sounds and tastes of another culture? How can we appreciate the ability to spiritually connect and do business, in ways that we may not be accustomed? How can we more passionately and effectively love and give back to those who are different from us?
This practicum is a series of events that celebrate and invigorate our service to the global community as we learn about culture and family organizations in West India.
This is an open practicum and guests are allowed, however certification for this event is for all MSOD alumni and students only.
You will have an opportunity to spend 11 days with various consultants, professors, and guest lecturers, as well as other members of the MSOD world. Our final keynote will be Dr. Kent Rhodes, a core faculty member with Pepperdine University's Doctoral Programs in Organizational Change and Organizational Leadership and MBA Programs where he teaches courses in leadership, applied behavioral sciences, organizational theory, and ethics. He also serves as the Ombudsman for Graduate School of Education and Psychology.
The conference content and activities will focus on developing the core skills we initially learned at Pepperdine such as cultural awareness, self as instrument, facilitation and change, and family organizations within India.
