The Center for Women in Leadership is pleased to welcome Bridget Baker, CEO, Baker Media, Inc. & Director Communication, Inc. to our West LA campus for an informative session on leadership needed to navigate ambiguity and drive growth.
Ms. Baker is a media executive with 25-years of senior leadership experience in television, cable, digital and new media. She co-founded CNBC and is a 23-year veteran of NBCUNIVERSAL where she served as president of content distribution; and was a key senior executive overseeing its $5 billion subscription revenue business. In 2017 The Cable Center distinguished Ms. Baker as an Innovation Laureate for being an industry trailblazer and key influencer, in this role she will mentor, teach, and motivate the next generation of cable industry leaders.
Today Baker serves on the board of directors for The Cable Center, 2020 Women on Boards, and GCI General Communications, Inc. She is a graduate of Pitzer College, and has completed courses at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, and the University of Oxford.
Known for her demonstrated ability to identify talent, lead and motivate teams to produce exceptional results in sales, business development, advertising and marketing, Bridget Baker will share her unique insights from a career journey of success.
