Global Capital Markets and Institutions with Professor Accomazzo:
This course introduces students to the operations of financial markets and financial institutions in allocating capital in a global macroeconomic environment. A major focus will be on equity and debt securities and on innovations in credit and money markets. Specific topics include: overview of the international financial system, forex, balance of payments, macroeconomics and global influences, corporate financing in international capital markets, hedging and arbitrage. The course will review the role of financial intermediaries and the regulations surrounding their operations.
