Career and Professional Development is excited to announce our upcoming campus lunch talks as part of our Summer Leadership Lunch Series! This program is designed to provide students an opportunity to come together for shared experiences involving continued learning and leadership skills enhancement through connecting with notable alumni. Join us for lunch and an opportunity to have an informal conversation with our esteemed alumni, gain insight into their journey and career advice takeaways. Our second lunch talk will be with alum Richard Hullum, Vice President of Finance and Accounting at UNICOM Government Inc.
As the VP of Finance and Accounting, Richard Hullum leads the entire financial management and accounting operations of a $200M+ entity by directing a team of 19 analysts and accountants, conducting financial analysis, modeling and reporting. Richard started his career at Freddie Mac as an Operational Risk intern before he was hired with Unicom Global as a Financial Analyst supporting the CFO and CEO directly. He led financial management activities for over 47 Global Corporate entities with various ERP systems and financial reporting standards. After significant success, he was promoted to VP of Finance and Accounting where he currently provides strategic insight for senior management and key stakeholders to facilitate their decision-making and drive operating initiatives. Richard graduated with his Bachelor of Business Administration from Howard University and his MBA in Finance from Pepperdine University, Graziadio.
