All alumni, family, and friends are invited to join Jim Gash (JD '93), the eighth president and chief executive officer of Pepperdine University, for a welcome reception at the home of the Black family. Designed by architect Wallace Neff, the iconic Holmby Hills estate has a place in Hollywood history as a filming location for Sunset Boulevard. In a neighborhood featuring some of LA's largest homes, the Black family residence stands out with a distinctive collection of cast bronze sculptures on the front lawn.
Gather together with LA Waves to meet President Gash, the first alumnus to lead Pepperdine in this role, and share in his efforts to build relationships, strengthen the Pepperdine community, and lay a foundation for the next chapter of the university's story.
Reception hosted by friends of Pepperdine, the Black Family. Registration is complimentary and includes appetizers and drinks. Due to limited capacity, advanced registration is required.
