This webinar will illustrate a strategic planning framework and a set of supporting tools and collaborative practices that management teams, boards, and other stakeholders may utilize for both strategic planning and scenario planning amidst the current crisis and future 'black swan' events. Webinar participants will learn a series of strategic planning tools for VUCA contexts (volatile, uncertain, chaotic, and ambiguous), including the Strategic Alignment Framework, environmental sectors analysis, strategic conversation guides, and scenario planning maps. The webinar will also illustrate how participants can assess their organization's or business unit's overall agility and capabilities to adapt to the current business landscape. Through the lens of a client case study, webinar participants will also learn a highly collaborative process and set of practices for engaging a range of diverse stakeholders in strategic planning, including the identification of environmental trends, core assumptions about the business and industry dynamics, strategic priorities and initiatives, and developing action plans.
