Pepperdine students, parents, faculty, and staff are invited to attend a virtual COVID-19 medical town hall beginning at 5 PM on January 19, 2021. During this special session, the community will hear from one of Pepperdine’s COVID-19 expert medical consultants, renowned infectious diseases physician and healthcare epidemiologist Dr. Rekha Murthy. A professor of medicine in the Cedars-Sinai Department of Medicine’s Division of Infectious Diseases and professor of clinical medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, Dr. Murthy will provide a perspective on current conditions of the pandemic in Los Angeles and California.
The evening will also include COVID-19 updates from Pepperdine leadership pertaining to the University’s status with current health orders and conclude with time for questions from the community. Attendees are encouraged to consider any specific medical questions they may have related to COVID-19.
