Join PEMSS for a conversation with Blumhouse Productions's Head of Planning Robert Yates. Between a filmography including Get Out, Paranormal Activity, and The Purge, Blumhouse has become the premier location for horror content under producer Jason Blum. With the spookiest season of the year here and the upcoming releases of Blumhouse's new films Halloween Kills and Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin, PEMSS will be hosting a virtual Q&A with Robert to discuss topics around strategy for a niche production company and Blumhouse's approach as well as not-so-scary stories around the scariest movies in town.
Robert Yates additionally has over ten years of experience around film and television working as a finance analyst at DreamWorks Studios, VP of Strategic Planning and Operations at Lionsgate, and SVP of Strategy, Planning and Operations at Global Roads Entertainment. Robert is an alumnus of Pepperdine Graziadio Business School with a BS in Business Management.
