Join your Pepperdine Graziadio community for the screening of scenes from the multi-award-winning documentary Juneteenth: Faith & Freedom online on Wednesday, June 12, 12:00-1:15 PM PT.
Hear from the film’s producer and host, Rasool Berry, as he shares his journey through Texas and engages with descendants of those emancipated from slavery on June 19, 1865. Rasool Berry serves as teaching pastor at The Bridge Church in Brooklyn, New York and as the director of partnerships and content development with Our Daily Bread Ministries. Joining the discussion will be alumnus and current DBA candidate Andre Campbell (MBA ‘18, PKE 139) chief strategy officer at Neowe Research and Development Inc. and current MBA student and president of the Graziadio Black Student Association, Lauren Turner Dunn, associate producer for CBS News.
Juneteenth’s legacy of overcoming adversity encourages today’s business leaders to forge ahead with innovation and a renewed dedication to social responsibility.
