On this volunteer shift, members of the AAPI Association will have the opportunity to serve dinner to individuals experiencing homelessness along Skid Row in downtown Los Angeles, partnering with Midnight Mission. This hands-on service experience focuses on providing not only a warm meal but also a sense of dignity, community, and compassion to those in need. Volunteers will assist in preparing and distributing food, engaging with residents, and helping create an atmosphere of care and respect. This shift is a powerful way to give back and make a tangible impact, fostering a spirit of service, empathy, and solidarity within the AAPI community. It’s a chance to connect with those less fortunate and contribute to an organization that has been a beacon of hope for over a century. NOTE: Limited availability and you must register in advance and submit to a rapid COVID test upon arrival and before entering the kitchen.
