The Inaugural Hispanic Scholarship Reception will honor Pepperdine Associates and raise awareness of the newly established Pepperdine Hispanic Alumni Scholarship. This will be an event you won’t want to miss, before the 37th Annual Pepperdine Associates Dinner, with local drink favorites and delicious hors d’oeuvres. There will be silent auctions, raffles, music and more, all benefitting the future students of Pepperdine.

Join us in developing a pathway for Hispanic youth to an education at Pepperdine. The evening’s silent auction will feature prize packages from spas, resorts, restaurants and theme parks. Plus, you can enter to win a Disney Prize Package including Park-Hopper tickets to the Disneyland Resort for a family of four.

Special thanks to Ernesto Morales (‘04, EMBA ‘09) with The Rose Hills Foundation of Rose Hills Memorial Park. Rose Hills Memorial Park will match all non-silent-auction donations, up to $2,500.

About the Pepperdine Hispanic Alumni Scholarship
The vision for our first Hispanic Alumni Scholarship began in 2011 to provide a scholarship to deserving Hispanic youth with financial assistance and career guidance as they pursue a degree at Pepperdine. The goal is to endow a scholarship for $100,000 so future generations may benefit and fulfill their dreams of attaining an education.

About Pepperdine Hispanic Alumni Council
The Pepperdine Hispanic Alumni Council (PHAC) will shift the Latino community's mindset and influence families to empower and enable students to actively pursue higher education. We will provide Hispanic students and alumni with tools and a path to greater professional and personal success. PHAC seeks to improve the professional development and career services for Hispanic alumni, as well as achieve peer and community recognition for Pepperdine University as a top school for Hispanics seeking a values-centered education that focuses upon building the business leaders of tomorrow.
