Begin the fall on a high note with the Pepperdine University Black Alumni Council for a special evening at the Hotel Maya benefiting African American students at Pepperdine. Enjoy supporting a good cause with delicious hors d'oeuvres and wine while taking in the soulful sounds of the Derek Bordeaux Group and Princeton Parker.

All net proceeds will help the African American community create a scholarship for African American students. Raffle prizes will be awarded throughout the evening from Delta Airlines, The Parking Spot and others.


The Pepperdine Black Alumni Council's purpose is to:

  • To provide scholarships, advocacy, support and networking opportunities for black students and alumni
  • To create an identity and an enhanced sense of cohesiveness among this ethnic group
  • To recognize the achievements and contributions of the Graziadio School
