MODERATOR Dr. Craig R. Everett
Associate Director, Pepperdine Private Capital Markets Project Craig R. Everett is an assistant professor of finance at Pepperdine University's Graziadio School of Business and Management and the associate director of the Pepperdine Private Capital Markets Project. His teaching and research interests include entrepreneurial finance, private capital markets, business valuation and behavioral corporate finance.
Dr. Everett has over twenty years of industry experience in management consulting (Accenture) and the aerospace & defense industry (Northrop Grumman). He has also been involved with multiple startup ventures. Dr. Everett has been actively engaged in children's financial literacy initiatives over the years, being both a classroom (K-12) financial literacy volunteer for Junior Achievement and a member of the curriculum advisory board for the National Financial Educators Council.

PANELISTSBianca Goodloe is a member of the California Bar Association, the New York Bar Association and a Foreign Registered Advocate with the European Union. Ms. Goodloe has years of experience in film finance, entertainment law and intellectual property, having also worked in development and production prior to practicing law. As the Managing Partner of Goodloe Law, Bianca Goodloe founded the law practice in 2003. She is also an adjunct professor at New York University and University of California Los Angeles. Goodloe Law specializes in the tailoring and execution of independent feature film financing. She has worked on many high profile projects such as
Harry Potter and
Lord of the Rings.
Larry Mortorff is an accomplished film producer, having made over 30 films over the past 20 years. Among these films are
Maria's Lovers,
Romero,
The Jungle Book,
Pinocchio,
Hellraiser III and
Children of the Corn II. Larry made the breakthrough films for Renee Zelwegger in
The Whole Wide World, and Reese Witherspoon in
Freeway. He worked with Keanu Reeve in
The Last Time I Committed Suicide, Martin Landau and Rob Schneider in
Pinocchio, and Christian Slater and Claire Furlani in
Basil.
Peter Graham has been actively involved in financing entertainment companies and film production for over twenty years. He is a graduate of the US Merchant Marine Academy and has an MBA from UCLA. Mr. Graham has expertise in complex international film financing and distribution. His specialty is developing creative deal structures encompassing both debt and equity. He has been involved in financing over 300 independent movies and television programs including
Leverage, Big Fan, Machete, Happy Tree Friends, Kingdom of Twilight, Myth Busters, Monster, Jeepers Creepers, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Virgin Suicides, and
