Dispute Resolution & Business
Constructive Conflict’s Role in Leadership Strategy
Thinking about going into dispute resolution, but not sure what the career path might be, or are you currently in the concentration, but not sure how to apply it in the corporate world? Alum Mark Fotohabadi (MBA ’08, MDR ’10), Co-Founder & Principal of the Agency for Dispute Resolution, will be at the West LA campus to discuss career paths within dispute resolution as well as how constructive conflict can impact organizations.
How can leaders transform competitive organizations into sustainable high performing environments? How can constructive conflict become the catalyst to creativity?
This presentation will offer actionable insights on how to leverage constructive conflict into sustained creativity. A practical overview of Christensen’s “disruptive innovation” phenomenon, Kim & Mauborgne’s “blue ocean strategy” and Star Trek - Bud Tribble’s “reality distortion field” of Steve Jobs will also be discussed. Finally, the session will offer actionable “conflict v. cooperation” takeaways with profound impact on your strategic thinking skills.
