Often storytelling is associated with using beautiful words, and creating elegant and flowery sentences. And people who don’t develop such dexterity in language often assume that they don’t have the skills to master the “art” of storytelling.

  • What if storytelling was a “science” more than an “art”?
  • What if the “formula” for storytelling could be mastered so that it can be applied not only to make a convincing argument but also pitching ideas from an entrepreneurial standpoint?
  • Similarly, what if there was a “science” to pitching ideas – a structured methodical framework that anyone could master?

If you resonate with the above prompts, this interactive and informative workshop will provide an insightful perspective or storytelling and pitching. What makes a good story? What makes a good pitch? What are the questions that an entrepreneur must answer when pitching to an investor? How one must go about creating simple and compelling messages that would resonate with the audience?

The topics discussed in the workshop have their roots in Entrepreneurship, Psychology, Sales, and Marketing, and are based upon speaker’s intimate interviews with 20+ CEOs and management executives as well as his institutional experience, developing and advising on investment thesis.

Upon completion of the workshop, the audience will have the following specific takeaways:

  1. Understand the formula for storytelling
  2. Learn how to open and close a pitch
  3. Understand how to identify the core message
  4. Differentiate between different types of competitive advantages
  5. Learn how to build anticipation
  6. Learn how to create a message that resonates with the audience
  7. Connect the message with personal brand
  8. Analyze the application of above-mentioned concepts through salient case studies from business and psychology
