“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” ~ Aristotle
In the past decade the definition of Executive Presence has evolved as it seeks to align with the leadership style that our current landscape demands. The three pillars that have been classically defined as EP are 1) Communication 2) Appearance and 3) Gravitas. Although each of these is still important, Executive Presence has grown to encompass a broader definition that includes many of the characteristics we have come to expect from our leaders. In addition, given the recent shift to working remotely and the predominant use of virtual meetings, we will examine how this impacts Executive Presence.
In this workshop we will explore what it means to Embody Executive Presence in today’s environment and how we can develop the necessary habits to succeed.
In this workshop participants will:
• Understand each of the dimensions of EP
• Explore their EP skills through experiential activities where they will be able to observe how they show up in these unique situations
• Develop an action plan that is tailored to the skills they need to develop in order to enhance & embody their EP
