Do you want to become a confident public speaker and strong leader? If so, Toastmasters is the place for you. Toastmasters at Pepperdine will be holding a demonstration meeting and let you involve into Toastmasters.

We have a professional team led by Lance Webster, Lt. Governor of Marketing at Toastmasters District 52. Lance achieved the highest award of Distinguished Toastmaster, which less than one percent of all Toastmasters have ever achieved. Moreover, he has over forty years of professional experience in teaching, public relations, association/non-profit management and personal life coaching.

“Since 1924, Toastmasters International has been recognized as the leading organization dedicated to communication and leadership skill development. Through its worldwide network of clubs, each week Toastmasters helps more than a quarter million men and women of every ethnicity, education level and profession build their competence in communication so they can gain the confidence to lead others.

By regularly giving speeches, gaining feedback, leading teams and guiding others to achieve their goals in a supportive atmosphere, leaders emerge. They learn to tell their stories. They listen and answer. They plan and lead. They give feedback and accept it. They find their path to leadership.”

As a successful entrepreneur or professional, you may find yourself at a point in your life when you long for something more. When all your accomplishments and accolades have been achieved, when all you own no longer seems to matter, when you seek a greater purpose in work and life, and when you want your life to be defined by helping others, you are likely in a season of life known as "halftime."
