As a minister, this summer you've probably been trying to fit in family time and all the summer church activities. So why not plan to take a break September 1st and join us at the Irvine Campus for our fall time of encouraging and equipping?
Our program is driven by your feedback from last time. You asked for apologetics help so we’re bringing in a gifted preacher and author on the topic! Jeff Vines is the Senior Pastor at Christ’s Church of the Valley in San Dimas, a large and growing Christian church that reaches people from all walks of life. Jeff’s experience as a missionary in New Zealand helped to sharpen his skills in answering the questions of agnostics and atheists alike. You will enjoy his humor and practical approach to this critical task.
We all know the importance of story in communicating today. Rick Gibson and Jeff Walling are going to team up for a unique presentation on telling stories that change lives. Rick’s role with Pepperdine as the Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President for Public Relations gives him a unique perspective on the power of narrative. We’ll share some ways you can use stories more effectively in the pulpit, the classroom, and the meeting room.
